Travel Grant Opportunities

3rd African Diaspora Women’s Summit 2026

The African Diaspora Women’s Summit Travel Grant is designed to support a limited number of motivated delegates who require financial assistance to attend the 3rd African Diaspora Women’s Summit in Melbourne, Australia.

The grant is grounded in equity, inclusion, and access, ensuring broader participation across the African diaspora and underrepresented communities.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants may be considered under one or more of the following categories:

• Women with low earnings and from low to lower-middle income countries (as classified by international development standards)

• Women from marginalized, underrepresented, or historically excluded communities who face structural barriers to attending international leadership events

• Students (full-time or part-time) and early-career professionals who can demonstrate financial need

Grants will be awarded based on both demonstrated merit and financial need.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to review the Travel Grant Guidelines carefully before submitting their application.

Grant Award Process

Grant application opens – 10 December 2025
Grant application closes – 15 January 2026
Grant notification – 28 February 2026

Only applications that fully comply with the criteria outlined in the Travel Grant Guidelines will be considered.

All required documents must be submitted together in a single email. Applications with incomplete documentation will not be reviewed.

Important Note

Applicants must be registered for the Summit in order to be eligible for consideration.

Priority consideration may be given to applicants who are:

• Confirmed speakers
• Panel participants
• Workshop facilitators
• Youth Forum contributors
